Ireland is well known for its fantastic hospitality, and Limerick is no different – wherever you go, you’re going to find some welcoming Irish locals to befriend you and the boys. Finding suitable Limerick stag accommodation for you and the lads should therefore be a cinch, but it's never as easy as that. Misleading pictures, biased reviews, outdated information – hunting down the right place for you and the lads to base yourself is a minefield and if you get it wrong, you're condemning the boys to a rusty, ramshackle hovel with no working hot water… or worse, a family friendly B&B miles away from the city centre that locks its doors for the night at half past eight. Luckily, we've been sending literally hundreds of stag dos to hotels across the country for the past 12 years, so we've already tracked down the best Limerick stag hotels for every budget.
Our 3 star hotels give you everything you need to build a base for a fantastic stag weekend, plus a little extra. We’ve got a range of different 3* Limerick stag accommodation available, meaning that no matter your tastes, budget or numbers, we’ve already got something that will suit. Whether you want to be right in the heart of the Limerick nightlife or would prefer to be a bit further outside, we can accommodate you. Our 3* Limerick stag hotels all come with televisions, internet, and on site bars and restaurants so you'll have everything you and the boys need in the building. If you’d rather go out to eat, we’ve got hotels with easy access to public transport, ones with free parking for those driving in, and build in the midst of the busier areas with plenty of hotels within walking distance. One of our hotels gives you complimentary access to an onsite swimming pool and gym, for if you want to work through that hangover Sunday morning, as well as a sauna, Jacuzzi and steam room for if you feel more like indulging it.
If you’d rather surprise the boys with a bit of luxury on the stag do in Limerick instead, we’re got some high end, 4 star Limerick stag hotels for you to try. They’re all located close to both the river, and the nightlife areas, and come with a range of other perks for you and the lads to enjoy. With amenities like 24 hour room service, onsite bars, and in house restaurants (or two), there’s no need for you or the boys to leave – though we’d still recommend it. There are also TV options, with international cable TV, satellite, or plasma at various hotels, and free wifi too. If you’ve got a bit of time to relax, we’ve got you covered, with free access to gyms, swimming pools, spas, and saunas. One hotel steps it up even further with four different pools on site, including a plunge pool, and extras like steam rooms, jacuzzis and hydrotherapy facilities. We don’t know what those are, but they sound relaxing to us.
Generally you’ll find the best nightlife situated in the areas close to the river, as well as the bigger shopping centres and the historical sights and landmarks. The area around the Old Quarter in particular has the biggest concentration of bars and nightclubs, especially close to the Milk Market or St Michael’s Church, along Upper Denmark Street. Towards the northern end of Dock Road there are a high number of pubs, for if you’d rather start the evening off with a couple of pints before moving on to the clubs. Howley’s Quay, near the shopping centres, is the area to find a couple of bars in when you’ve had your fill of Guinness.
Limerick might not be a tourist hotspot itself, but it’s so close with Cork and Galway that it’s often used as a base for visitors hoping to explore the area – and the cheaper prices don’t hurt it’s appeal either. Clearly then, hotels aren’t that easy to come by – and finding accommodation that will take stags without charging premium rates and constantly breathing down your necks is difficult no matter where in the world you’re based. You can easily avoid all of these problems by booking with StagWeb. We’ve been sending out stag parties since 2002, so we’ve had plenty of time to build good working relationships with both chain hotels and independent businesses, meaning we can find you last minute rooms, as well as better offers and deals than you’re going to be able to negotiate by yourselves – not to mention we’re able to help you escape those premium rate charges. Aside from saving you money, we can also make sure your money is safe – we were the first in our field to become ABTA bonded, so you’re guaranteed some protection if anything goes wrong. To start booking, or just to find out more, leave us a message and we’ll start seeing how we can help you grab a stag hotel in Limerick for your weekend!
