With all the best clubs, bars, restaurants, beaches and shops so close together, it's actually easier to travel on your own two feet rather than risking any expensive taxi fares or confusing bus journeys. Although if you do fancy venturing outside the city limits (and why shouldn't you?) Bus Croatia are very reliable and won't put a dent in your beer budget.
Or if you feel like travelling without a window in the way, why not get active and hire a bike?
