While with go-karting, you would normally hit the brakes or slide the go-kart when you approach a sharp corner. Not so in a hovercraft - you don't have any brakes! You cannot stay on the throttle and slide around a corner, you will keep going straight on! So pay attention because hovercrafting is different and the more tips you get the more you'll get out of the experience.
format
when you arrive at the activity stand - you will be given a full briefing - including all you need to know about how that activity runs, operation, safety etc. (generally lasting 5 mins). All guests apart from those actually participating in the event are then asked to stand in a safety area a few metres away from the course. Following a safety briefing, you'll learn the basics of piloting these exciting machines - and quickly learn that it's not as easy as the experts make it look!

clothing
you will need comfortable clothing that is non restrictive. We advise you wear something warm (especially during winter) with boots or trainers. You may get wet and muddy, so it is recommended that you bring a change of clothes, particularly if you are planning to go out after!
