The course starts at 9.30am with a safety talk, the Instructor will then begin in the dinghy with you to help you learn the rudiments as quickly and safely as possible. When your confidence and competence has increased to a point where you feel comfortable with the boat, the Instructor moves out of the dinghy to teach and encourage you from a safety boat. As far as possible, you will be sailing with people whose ability and experience are much like your own. The day will usually finish with races. |
