What men REALLY think about weddings…
The groom, the bad and the ugly.

It’s a funny thing but you’re unlikely to hear a man say, “I love a good wedding.” The enjoyment of wedding days does seem to be very much a female preserve. So what do men really think of weddings?
“I hope there’s a free bar…” The wedding guest
“I hope I don’t mess up the speech…” The best man
“I hope she turns up!” The groom

StagWeb polled over 1,000 men in search of the truth, so just what do men really think about weddings?

Preparation really is key. The worst tales we hear (and we hear a lot) are from best men who just aren’t planned. Book everything early or the stag do could be a nightmare. Also get the speech written well in advance so you have time to practice. If in doubt, check out these tips.

Yes it’s going to cost you a fortune, yes you’ll have too much too eat. Too much to drink and make an idiot of yourself on the dancefloor. But that’s what weddings are for. So eat, drink and be merry, but always have ‘an out’ in case there’s a Westlife tribute band.
