stag success on a budget

In 20 years time we won’t remember a lot of things, but you should remember your stag dos. Don’t let doom and gloom put you off having an exceptional time, it’s all about planning, getting more for less and added value – that’s where StagWeb make the difference!

Here are StagWeb’s tips for planning if you’re concerned about budget

1. only book with a financially assured agent, eg ABTA bonding – that way you know the company you book with will still be around
2. get your confirmations in early, who’s coming and who’s not
3. decide what you want to do and stick to it as best you can, chopping and changing costs a lot of time and time is money
4. book early to get the best deals and price consistency (especially with exchange rates)
5. make sure everyone’s clear on price
6. make sure everyone pays you on time
7. plan the weekend around getting the most from it, not just turning up – that’s the difference between great value and hoping for the best
8. relax, it’s a fun time and you’ve done a great job

Remember – the real expense is a missed opportunity.

Stag weekends usually don’t cost too much if you know what you’re doing. Unfortunately I recently went on a do organised by a complete spanner who didn’t really bother planning properly and the cost just spiralled and he wasn’t too popular by the end of the weekend!! Don’t let that be you!
