After a long hard fought season StagWeb have become double winning champions with their first trophy win being the Halloween Cup in October followed up yesterday with the big one – the league!

With the season starting back in September the team showed class and dedicated to finish 4^th in the league that lead them onto a playoff game where they showed even more dedication to win the game 7-4.

This led them onto a quarter final game where the opposite must have seen the StagWeb team training and left scared! This resulted in a forfeit and the mighty StagWeb liege were automatically given their place in the semi finals.

The semi final game bought an astounding display from all the players but one player shined through. Steve ‘Jamie Carragher’ Roddy burst his way through the opposition defence to score the game’s only 2 goals to ensure a 2-0 victory for the StagWeb lads!

From the beginning of the season StagWeb had been building up for the big final. With 6 months of hard work it all boiled down to this one game. With playing the semi final game on the same night, the lads knew it would be a tough game, but their display did not show any doubt. With 2 goals each from Dan ‘Jimmy Bullard’ Wakefield and Matt ‘The Gaffer’ Lay and 1 goal each from Russell ‘Chadwick’ Whatley, Tom ‘Sidwell’ Rooney and Jamie ‘the heart of the defence’ Birleson the team stormed to a 7-1 victory!
