Things to see and do on an Amsterdam stag do
Written by the Amsterdam stag weekend specialist.
There are so many “must dos” on an Amsterdam stag do that it’s hard to fit them all into just one weekend – the perfect excuse for a second Amsterdam stag weekend I’d say.
Beer Bicycle – One of the best activities you can do whilst on your Amsterdam stag weekend has to be the beer bike. Amsterdam is one of just a couple of destinations that you can do the beer bike activity, a great and different way to spend the day and view the Dutch capital. You and the guys will be on the back of a 22 seat bike with a bar running down the middle offering you beer during the 3 hour tour. With your sober driver leading the way a bit of pedal power will be needed to make sure you go in the right direction but with the tunes playing you can sit back and enjoy the sights with a cold brew as you fly by.
Hienenken Brewery – Amsterdam is also the home of one of the most widely enjoyed beers on the globe – Heineken, so what better place to visit on your Amsterdam stag do than the world famous Heineken Brewery and Museum. Recently redeveloped there is no doubt this is a must do for any Amsterdam stag weekend, you’ll be enjoying a fair few Heinekens over the weekend so why no experience the origins and enjoy a delicious pint straight from the source.
Red Light District – Amsterdam is famous for a lot of things not least its Red light district. Whilst it is most famous for the shop windows on offer the red light district also offers groups a whole lot more. It’s an area full of bars, restaurants and entertainment venues and a tour round is an unforgettable way to spend an evening on your Amsterdam stag weekend. One of the most famous of these venues is the Bananenbar with an hour in there including all you can drink and a variety of rather unique shows you won’t get anywhere else.
