Pleasure, but where’s the Pain-tball?
Whether or not you bruise like a peach, you’re unlikely to avoid experiencing at least one afternoon of paintball action in your lifetime, especially for a stag do. Statistically paintballing is the nation’s favourite stag activity and for good reason – it’s cheap as chips and a great opportunity to get all the guys involved, regardless of group size. On top of that, it’s a great way to ensure that the Stag doesn’t get away unmarked… Hunt the stag anyone?
This is not an activity restricted to select destinations – there are hundreds of venues scattered across the UK & Europe – but the quality of experience varies enormously, so it’s important to do your research. A good paintball site will be run by dedicated professionals who put safety first every time, ensuring you’re equipped with all safety gear.
There are some massive venues out there, offering the chance to play in woodland, fields and even indoor (Bournemouth, Birmingham, London and Nottingham are amongst the best destinations for paintball). You’ll get to play through a range of mission objectives in varied game zones, all designed to really get the adrenaline pumping, and some sites even feature huge props, including ex-army vehicles, pyramids, trains and planes.
There are those who scoff at an afternoon’s paintballing, but it’s clearly fear doing the talking here. This is a man’s sport, for real men.
