3 of our best driving stag activities

If you’re looking for a motorsports action filled stag weekend with the boys then look no further! Below we’ve listed 3 of our best driving stag activities which is sure to get the adrenaline pumping …

Quad Biking is a superb driving activity that can be enjoyed by all groups with its great variation; racing and trekking. The racing is more of a time trial with one or two quads on the track at one time competing for the best time, simple! The trekking can be up to 20 quads at a time in some destinations, where you and the boys will battle some of the trickiest, dirtiest and most demanding terrain while riding on 100-250cc beasts!

Go Karting offers groups the ideal driving activity due to the competitiveness of the activity. With grand prix, Le Mans formats available the groups can go head to head and fight it out for that elusive trophy. With indoor and outdoor tracks Go Karting offer great variation to your stag driving activity.

Powerturns are a great stag driving activity and you can almost  guarantee some members of the group have not experienced before. A brilliant and totally dynamic driving experience, these vehicles are capable of spinning 360° on their own axis, which unless driven correctly – you might find yourself doing too!!   The Powerturn is a one or two man two-wheel drive vehicle powered by twin engines and steered by varying the throttle or brake on either of the engines.  A totally different driving discipline it can power slide round corners, do doughnuts, wheelies and can probably be manoeuvred faster than any other off road leisure driving vehicle in the world. Such a great stag driving activity to make your stag party unique and unforgettable.

Barcelona generating extra transfer funds by holding weddings at the Camp Nou

The current Spanish champions, FC Barcelona’s latest money-making effort is to allow weddings to take place at one of Europe’s largest stadiums … the famous Camp Nou. Well they have to try and find the funds for Arsenal’s Cesc Fabregas from somewhere!

Former Barcelona hockey player, Iban Anglada and his new wife Sigrid Sans became the first couple to hold their wedding at the Camp Nou, reportedly costing an astonishing €60,000. The couple invited 250 family & friends who had pitch side drinks, while the dinner and after party were held inside.

Here’s the pricing breakdown (via the AFP):

Holding a civil wedding ceremony at the stadium costs between 1,800 and 2,400 euros depending on the number of guests, according to the club.

The price for the banquet begins at 110 euros per person and the club can accommodate up to 750 guests.

Extras, such as displaying the trophies which Barcelona won last season, including the Champions League, at the banquet cost 1,500 euros.

“The dream of so many Barcelona fans is finally possible, celebrating your wedding at Barca,” the club says in its brochure to promote its new wedding services.

If you wanted to go all out Spanish style, then why not even a Barcelona stag do? Could there be a more perfect destination than the sunny Catalan capital …

The Kate Moss wedding has been widely publicized recently with her enjoying several hen parties including the Isle of Wight festival, a health spa day at £830-a-head included a caviar manicure & pedicure, a day at Alton Towers and also dinner at two-Michelin-starred restaurants.

Not only was the hen party an extravagant event the wedding has been reported to had reached £1 million. With all the expenses it probably wasn’t all as she had planned for the big day after she was embarrassed by the best man speech.

The best man honors where performed by Jamie Hince’s  kills bandmate, Alison Mosshart. Wedding guests claim the model was not impressed by the “rambling” speech, which includes a list of ways for Kate to “treat her man”.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “It was tumbleweed stuff. Alison got it all wrong. It was a rambling, boring and patronizing speech.

Kate had her head in her hands by the end and people were telling Kate’s brother to pull the plug on the microphone.”

If you want to see how a best man speech should be performed have a look at the video below …

Record breaking – The Hangover 2 grosses $205m worldwide!

Last week Warner Bros. Pictures’ The Hangover Part II took staggering box office receipts as the comedy sequel grossed $205m worldwide. The fastest comedy to surpass the $200m mark.

In the US the popular comedy raked in more $135m in its first five days which smashed multiple records! It also broke the 3 day, 4 day and 5 day opening records for a comedy film opening of any rating. To make it sweeter for Todd Phillips, director of The Hangover part II, the film shattered both the Memorial Day weekend record & Friday to Monday holiday record for an R-rated film with an astonishing $103m, doubling the previous film.

The Hangover 2 stars all the previous characters of Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) who this time travel to the exotic Thailand for Stu’s wedding. In essence it’s the same plot set in a different location but still a fantastic mysterious film which you can’t work out.

What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can’t even be imagined.

The Hangover Part II has been out in UK cinemas for a couple of weeks now but you can still catch it if you’re lucky!
