Rugby World Cup Weekend Results
With the Rugby World Cup in full swing, the pool stages have definitely been providing us with some top notch TV viewing. Over the course of the weekend, the 4 home nations each played, resulting in some fantastic and staggering results.
England thrashed Romania with the final score totalling 67-3. Tries were scored by various players including Ashton and Cueto both achieving 3. Ireland seemed to follow in England’s footsteps on the Sunday beating Russia by 62-12 with McFadden, O’Brien and Boss scoring to name a few.
Unfortunately the same could not be said for Scotland with them just missing out on victory against Argentina with the scores at 13-12 when the final whistle blew. But this morning has led to a phenomenal result for the home nations with Wales hammering Namibia by 81 points to 7. Tries were endless including Williams scoring 3, North 2 along with Jenkins, Brew and Jones.
