New StagWeb website launched!

We’ve launched the new StagWeb website and it’s better than ever. The StagWeb site is just going into its 11th year, so it’s only right we give it an impressive makeover. The site itself still has much of the same great stuff we’ve always had but we’ve added quite a bit to it in terms of design and depth, making StagWeb even more rewarding and user friendly.

See our new website below!

You’ll see new graphics, new images from hundreds of our suppliers, more content, more descriptions, more packages and even more opportunities to research and plan an amazing stag do. We set the standard in stag weekends so it follows we should keep doing it for our site aswell.

It’s hard to believe the difference between the first site at the end of 2000 when StagWeb was just an idea, and where it has arrived at now. Since then we’ve received millions of hits and over 160,000 clients have enjoyed our services in over 20 countries and we’ve received plenty of excellent feedback on how to make the site better – we hope you like where we’re now.

We’ve got plans going forward and really look forward to bringing you those, in the meantime please enjoy the new site and let us have your comments, especially if you think we can make improvements.

Yeovil fan’s best man speech becomes internet hit

A Yeovil Town football supporter had his wedding made even more unforgettable when the best man organised a surprise by getting all the wedding guests to sing a rendition of the Glovers’ hit song ‘Yeovil True.’

Matt Tilley, who has been a fan of Yeovil since he was five, has seen the video become a YouTube viral sensation.

Matt admitted – “I didn’t have a clue, although one of my friends did accidentally give me a glimpse of a microphone during the welcome drinks … I couldn’t believe how quickly it escalated on YouTube. One minute it was 5,000 views, then 10,000 and now over 32,000 – quite unbelievable. Both myself and my best man could not believe it.’

Groom-to-be flashmob proposal on train goes viral

A groom-to-be came up with a unusual way to propose on the train which has now gone viral!

Adam King ambushed his partner on the way home from work while on the 19:57 train to Watford with members of his choir, who sang her favourite song – Lovely day by Bill Withers. He then got down on one knee and proposed!

Apparently pleased, Ms Rodgers burst into tears and said yes.

Mr King was reported as saying – “I knew I wanted to do some kind of flashmop, but wanted it to be quite intimate. So I came up with the idea of the Overground train from Euston, where we live … The biggest problem was making sure Lucy made the train. There was only a three-minute window to get the choir, me and Lucy on … A lot of the choir are our friends, which made things even harder – we had to make sure she didn’t recognise people.”
