3 of our best driving stag activities

If you’re looking for a motorsports action filled stag weekend with the boys then look no further! Below we’ve listed 3 of our best driving stag activities which is sure to get the adrenaline pumping …

Quad Biking is a superb driving activity that can be enjoyed by all groups with its great variation; racing and trekking. The racing is more of a time trial with one or two quads on the track at one time competing for the best time, simple! The trekking can be up to 20 quads at a time in some destinations, where you and the boys will battle some of the trickiest, dirtiest and most demanding terrain while riding on 100-250cc beasts!

Go Karting offers groups the ideal driving activity due to the competitiveness of the activity. With grand prix, Le Mans formats available the groups can go head to head and fight it out for that elusive trophy. With indoor and outdoor tracks Go Karting offer great variation to your stag driving activity.

Powerturns are a great stag driving activity and you can almost  guarantee some members of the group have not experienced before. A brilliant and totally dynamic driving experience, these vehicles are capable of spinning 360° on their own axis, which unless driven correctly – you might find yourself doing too!!   The Powerturn is a one or two man two-wheel drive vehicle powered by twin engines and steered by varying the throttle or brake on either of the engines.  A totally different driving discipline it can power slide round corners, do doughnuts, wheelies and can probably be manoeuvred faster than any other off road leisure driving vehicle in the world. Such a great stag driving activity to make your stag party unique and unforgettable.

Horse racing stag do – enjoy a day at the races!

Horse racing is always a fantastic day out for any stag weekend and as race courses go they don’t get much better than York. The North’s premier race course offers groups a great summer stag activity with some of the countries best racing and a chance to win some spending money for the rest of your stag weekend.

With just six Saturday meetings throughout the year the races are always hugely popular and in great demand. Staying in York for the full horse racing stag weekend is always people’s first thought but is much harder than most might think. Unfortunately because the races are always so popular accommodation in York always sells out well in advance and the rates charged by the hotels are usually triple that of the standard rate.

The best way around this is to base yourselves outside of York and our recommendations for the best stag weekend locations are always Harrogate or Leeds. Both will offer groups a fantastic evening out, we can arrange private transfers to and from the races with entry tickets meaning you and the guys will still get the fantastic York race experience for your stag weekend but the value for money is much better.

Superb horse racing stag weekend packages are available in both, why not check out our fantastic Leeds stag weekend packages or Harrogate stag weekend packages here, alternatively let us know exactly what you want by creating a bespoke stag weekend package online now.

Pleasure, but where’s the Pain-tball?

Whether or not you bruise like a peach, you’re unlikely to avoid experiencing at least one afternoon of paintball action in your lifetime, especially for a stag do. Statistically paintballing is the nation’s favourite stag activity and for good reason – it’s cheap as chips and a great opportunity to get all the guys involved, regardless of group size.  On top of that, it’s a great way to ensure that the Stag doesn’t get away unmarked… Hunt the stag anyone?

This is not an activity restricted to select destinations – there are hundreds of venues scattered across the UK & Europe – but the quality of experience varies enormously, so it’s important to do your research.  A good paintball site will be run by dedicated professionals who put safety first every time, ensuring you’re equipped with all safety gear.

There are some massive venues out there, offering the chance to play in woodland, fields and even indoor (Bournemouth, Birmingham, London and Nottingham are amongst the best destinations for paintball). You’ll get to play through a range of mission objectives in varied game zones, all designed to really get the adrenaline pumping, and some sites even feature huge props, including ex-army vehicles, pyramids, trains and planes.

There are those who scoff at an afternoon’s paintballing, but it’s clearly fear doing the talking here. This is a man’s sport, for real men.

Our top 3 action adventure stag activities!

For most stag parties the usual go karting, paintball, and lap dancing club will no longer cut it, guys are always looking for bigger and better options to make the weekend as memorable as possible. With this in mind we have scoured the length of the country to ensure we can offer the most unique, exclusive adventure stag activities. With so many new and exciting options it’s difficult to pick a favourite, however here are the three we think are top of the list:

3. White Water Rafting in Edinburgh

There are only 2 sites in the UK that we can offer natural rafting and Edinburgh is unquestionably the best. The rivers run from grade 2-5 all year round which includes the infamous ‘boulder dash’ and ‘death fang’. The crescendo of your rafting experience comes in the form of a two tier 20 foot drop (grade 4) which will leave you and the boy’s speechless. You should be able to run the rapids 2-3 times over depending on how much you can take.

See more about our Edinburgh white water rafting.

2. Stock car racing in Birmingham

Boys and motors have always gone hand in hand when it comes to stag weekends; however most guys have experienced go karting or quad biking. So our Stockcar racing experience should tick all the boxes and is unique in every way; it’s the only centre of its kind in the country where you can race full size stock cars around this specially built oval race track.

See more about stock car racing in Birmingham.

1. Zap cats in Newquay

probably one of the most extreme adventure activities we offer is the high octane zap cats. These extreme machines can reach speeds of up to 50mph’s and can leap 6 feet in the air.  The speed and acceleration is unlike anything else you will have experienced putting your body through 3G in the turn!
