a little more about Birmingham
Historically referred to as "The city of 1001 trades", Birmingham was a prosperous industrial city that took on and developed most manufacturing successfully. Always a forward thinking conurbation, Birmingham's town planners were already hard at work redesigning our second city before WWII.
With time and the influence of the boom years, Birmingham is now very much a modern destination, with a wealth of inner city features for visitors to enjoy. Several billion pounds of investment is scheduled for the next few years, including a first class retail complex, which should see Brum develop further into a major international city. If you haven't thought about it before it's really worth thinking about now.
