Why Brecon ...
If you and your group are after a weekend of good, clean, energetic outdoor fun over liver-busting nights out in clubs and bars for a stag celebration, then look no further than one of the UK's most beautiful outdoor playgrounds - the Brecon Beacons in mid-Wales.
The endless countryside which surrounds the popular market town of Brecon provides an adventure right on your doorstep and offers a great alternative for those who love the outdoors and hate the idea of a drinking-based stag. We have tonnes of great activities for you and your stag group to try right out and if you do fancy a night out on the tiles, party hotspot Cardiff isn't far away.
Where to hang out ...
It's no secret that Brecon is a small town, but it does have restaurants, bars and pubs to amuse you and then boys when you're not busy quad biking or cliff jumping!
Enjoy Brecon's famous views of majestic Pen-y-Fan, the highest peak in south Britain. You'll definitely be in need of a good bed after your fun-packed days, so enjoy one of our 3 or 4 star hotels when it's time to hit the hay.
When to visit
Brecon is beautiful all year round, although an outdoor stag do in the national park during chilly January or February is not for the faint hearted! Try visiting in August when the usually relaxed town buzzes with life, as their popular jazz festival takes to the streets. Expect three days of great acts, featured artists and excellent food.
Getting to Brecon
Because Brecon is a small town, it doesn't have its own train station, so you and your group would transfer from the nearest station and either take a taxi or bus to your accommodation.
