Exeter’s main sight is the Cathedral Church of Saint Peter, which is framed by parks and wonky half-timbered buildings. Also worth a visit are Powderham Castle and the Underground Passages.

In April there’s the Exeter Festival of South West Food and Drink as well as the Exe Factor Heats - performances from local bands and musicians. In June there’s the Sequoia Foodie Fest, which sees local celebrity chefs, contests, sampling, live music and activities.
