Gothenburg is one of the cheaper places to visit in the generally fairly pricey Sweden, so if you want to have a Swedish stag weekend, Gothenburg is a great choice.
The biggest tourist attraction in Gothenburg is the Liseberg amusement park (a sort of Swedish Alton Towers), which attracts over 3 million visitors every year and is home to one of the biggest wooden rollercoasters in the world.
Gothenburg is a great place to go in the summer with its vibrant street life and proximity to the sea so you can enjoy a few beers outside or take a trip to the beach.
