Internationally famous for decades Liverpool is a genuine heavyweight of a city, its home to one of the world’s greatest football teams and the world’s greatest band, it was the European capital of culture in 2008 and it’s constantly redeveloping, it’s quite a place! So Liverpool is a good idea on location alone but mix in hundreds of entertainment venues, great hotels and dozens of quality activities and you’ve got a recipe for a pretty special event. But plan early, it’s not just recommended for stag groups but also sees plenty of hen parties, sports teams, students, fashionistas and weekend breakers making the city one of the most popular destinations in the UK. There’s an exclusivity to Liverpool that you can get if you plan right and know where to go, you don’t have to take in the Beatles or the tour of Anfield to get the feel of the place (but you might want to as they’re both legend). Once you’re there it’s obvious to most of its visitors, even the odd appreciative Liverpool stag party, that this is a particularly special place.
