Riga - plan your Friday to Sunday stag do

43 hours in Latvia’s capital ...

Riga is packed with exceptional activities, lovely Latvian ladies, outstanding nightlife and excitement aplenty. An excellent place to take the lads any time of year, the city offers stag groups heaps of choices, from paintballing to bobsleighing and lap dancing to pub crawling! If you’re looking for a memorable stag weekend in a city brimming with fun and culture then look no further - we’ve got it sorted. Check out our example itinerary for some inspiration -

FRIDAY:

5pm Once you’ve arrived for your epic Riga stag do check into your city centre hotel - we have a range of options but we recommend our amazing 3* city-centre hotel. It’s seconds from all the action (and importantly the best bars and clubs!)

7pm After a bit of unpacking and perhaps a cheeky sencu or two the lads are probably in the mood for food so get shaved and shirted and head out to Folkklubs Ala Pagrabs for some traditional Latvian food in a renovated, cool cellar. The restaurant is always busy and the perfect spot to start your stag night. More importantly, the food and beer is incredibly cheap as well as delicious and well-presented. You can stay there for a couple of after dinner drinks and some live music then head out on a top-rate guided pub crawl. Our local English speaking guide will show you around the best drinking holes that Riga has to offer in this 3 hour crawl and it’ll set the pace for a unforgettable weekend.

SATURDAY:

10am Time for a hearty breakfast to set you up for the day. Head over to Tinto, although it’s a wine bar in the evenings it turns into a calm, modern place to get some breakfast come morning. The classic Latvian breakfast consists of a sandwich with cheese, sausages, pickles and other fillings but if you don’t fancy that don’t panic, there are also more traditional bacon and egg dishes and the Latvians love their tea and coffee.

12pm Once you’ve properly filled up it’s time to get your pre-booked transfers and play a round of golf on one of Latvia’s championship courses. Whether you and the lads are beginners to the sport or already keen golfers, you’ll have great fun and you might get a cheeky opportunity to win some money off the stag.

4pm After proving your pro golfing abilities you’ll have some time to squeeze in some culture and take in parts of the great capital. Pop over to the Riga motor museum to see the 100 plus motor vehicles, great for all the motorheads in the group.

7pm Once you’re back at the hotel it’s time to get ready and head out for a stag-worthy feast with a delicious steak dinner. The grand central venue serves great food that’ll go down well with the guys (and who doesn’t love steak?!) On top of that we’ll even throw in 2 free beers each to get you ready for the big night ahead.

9pm It’s time to head out and experience the fantastic Riga nightlife. We’ve done our homework and set up a quality night with VIP entry for you and the boys to one of Riga’s top nightclubs with q jump, no entry fees and no fuss! You can all spin your moves on the dance floor into the early hours and make it one to remember.

SUNDAY:

9am Enjoy another tasty breakfast before checking out. Why not head for some American style breakfasts at Harry Morgan, where traditional breakfasts are served alongside American pancakes and omelettes. If you want to pack in one last activity to end the weekend on a true high then why not take the guys target shooting!

12pm Time to get your return transfers back to the airport and say Atā! to an epic Riga stag do!
