a little more about Torquay
Torquay has all the benefits of a lads’ holiday by the sea with modern additions of superb activities, buzzing nightlife and an incredible atmosphere. The iconic palm trees which line the promenade pave the way for a first class time in a buzzing town.
Worth a visit for the great beaches alone, Torquay falls within the UNESCO - supported English Riviera Global Geopark, a unique area where cavemen and prehistoric beasts once roamed. If you want to inject a bit of exploration into the weekend head to Kents Cavern, home to the oldest fragment of the modern human species ever found in Europe.
Activity-wise there are plenty of terrific things to pack into your Torquay stag weekend. Begin Saturday with our assault course at a top venue to get your adrenaline pumping before paintballing for a few rounds of the stag favourite.
To start your Torquay stag night we’ll arrange a delicious meal at an excellent Torquay restaurant - choose from a variety of cuisines and we’ll book a quality, stag-friendly venue. Finish your stag night with lap dancing and VIP nightclub entry.
when to go to Torquay?
In terms of annual events, in May there’s the Brixham Pirate Festival for some hearty fun, and also in May is BMAD - with motorbike stunts, a beer tent and Bikers Make A Difference. In June there’s Babbacombe Festival, with live music and entertainment, a German oompah evening with a beer tent, plenty of award-winning fish and chips and lots more.
If you liked the sound of that, then see our Torquay packages for more ideas & itineraries!
