a little more about Wroclaw
Now Polish heavyweight and the fourth most populated in Poland, Wroclaw is a must see destination, up there with Krakow, Warsaw, Gdansk & Poznan. It was only the last century following the end of the Second World War which saw Poland including Wroclaw again after the region's unfortunate battles. In 1945 following almost 5 months of bombardments over half the city leveled by Russian forces pursuing a stubborn German occupation, eventually removing them only for Poland to be ultimately absorbed into the USSR and Russian occupation.
For the last 20 years Wroclaw has been stimulating its naturally multicultural, entrepreneurial and intellectual past. The city is now livelier than for a good few years offering its visitors a hugely enjoyable experience across culture, hospitality, action and entertainment.
