The easiest way of getting to Berlin is to fly. From London (LON) to Berlin (BER) flights tend to take 1 hour 35 minutes.
Berlin’s public transport system consists of buses, trams, the subway (U-Bahn) and the light rail (S-Bahn) as well as the Regionalbahn (RB) and Regionalexpress (RE) trains and ferries.
BVG is the main operator and has an information kiosk (open 6am-10pm) outside Zoo station. There you can pick up a free route network map and buy tickets. Taxis are generally easy to catch and there are lots of bike rentals if you’re interested in biking around.
