La Manga, (literally meaning “the sleeve”) takes its name from the peninsular that creates the local lagoon from the Mediterranean. The closest town is the historic Cartagena, where Hannibal set off with his elephants to take on the Romans. La Manga is easily accessible by Murcia, 20 minutes transfer, or Alicante, 60 minutes transfer, getting there has never been easier.
The resort itself is famous worldwide but especially in Europe where it has seen golfers and sports teams from all over the Continent come to use its spectacular facilities.
