static wave surfing Stag Party in algarve
Lesser stags might be back in Burnley, shooting paint at each other while trying to avoid the worst of the rain. But you, you ruddy legend, you've brought the boys out to the Algarve, they're kicking back, getting nicely tanned for the wedding photos and about to become surf gods. Or at least try not to embarrass themselves too badly.
If you've never seen static wave surfing before the idea is simple, instead of having to find a beach with the perfect mix of waves and winds, you enter a specially shaped flat pool where water is pumped at incredible pressure to create a static wave. So as the water pumps past at incredible speed, the surfer actually stays in one place. Or falls, face plants and is rolled out the back of the machine by the high amount of water. The latter is slightly more entertaining.
But at StagWeb we don't like to create this level of fun anywhere you're likely to go thirsty, so we've set it up for you to do it in a bar! Yeah, hit the water then hit the bar, because just like the waves, that's how you roll.
You'll take in it turns to ride the wave opting for either a surf or bodyboard while your fellow stags watch on, certainly never taking the p*** (because they'd never do that). You can compete to see who can ride the wave the longest and who can pull off any tricks. As for filming the groom in action and posting his face plant on Facebook, you're his best man, surely you'd never stoop to something so low...?
