With sand underfoot you'll enjoy your meals in the longhouse which has a banquette seating area where you'll relax at the open air bar/kitchen area which comes stocked with drinks, snacks and a library as well as a personal chef to cook for you each night. A pavilion style gazebo called the longhouse has open sides, daybeds, a selection of books and magazines as well as binoculars to survey the horizon over the reef. There's also a number of prime locations dotted around the island for spotting wildlife or chilling with a few beers as you watch the sun set lazily over the Antipodean skyline.
Designer-inspired tents will add to the castaway feel of the secluded island paradise which holds up to 12 guests. Each tent also has a private deck and hammocks outside to enjoy the slow paced island living. Each tent comes complete with;
♦ Raised timber floors
♦ King size beds
♦ Deck chairs and hammocks
♦ Beach and sea views
There are plenty of activities to keep the whole group entertained from first light until the last lazy rays of the day give way to the calm ocean breeze of the night. It's the perfect snorkelling destination with fish, manta rays, turtles, corals and reef sharks all calling the Great Barrier Reef and area around the island home. Another nearby island offers diving excursions to further explore the reef with over 20 different dive sites.
Back on dry land if you've had your fill of swimming with (or trying to catch) the local fish you can of course set up impromptu stag games and challenges as you'll have the whole island to map out as your very own stag playground. Being “down under” you could of course create your own Ashes to play for with a game of beach cricket. Or how about a game of Aussie (Island) Rules Football?
Between June and October migrating Humpback whales can often be seen breaching just off the island. While from October to March turtles take centre stage as they migrate to the region to mate and lay hatchlings along the island’s beaches.
Stag party veterans will be aware of the tried and tested stag rule of no one being allowed to use their mobile phone, well with our Crusoe style island existence you’ll be shipwrecked in style, there will be no TV, no mobile reception just complete relaxation and escape.
This really is desert island living but with plenty of mod-cons for the nearly-wed and all his best friends to create pre-wedding memories that will last a lifetime. This is the ideal way to celebrate his single life send off in a truly unique and utterly spectacular style.
