Rightfully, Christmas jumpers should have been left back in American 80’s sitcoms, where they belong. Regretfully though, they seem to come back every year, turning up as soon as December hits, uglier and more festive than ever. They’ve been around so long they’ve gone a complete fashion circle – from their 80’s sitcom heyday, to your mum forcing them over your head as a child, to the itchy, ironic territory of the hipsters, and now to an item you see people spending real money on, in real shops, and wearing out to real places.
