As great as the pizzas are, the whole feel of the place puts you in the mood for an evening out with the lads, complete with acoustic music nights and a killer lasagne on offer for the non-believers in the group.

Their best slice? The Swiss Tony Calzone – Stuffed with applewood cheddar, pancetta and meatballs.
Pizza Fella started life in 2014 in Naples, so you know you and the boys are getting legit Neapolitan pizza (distinguishable from regular dough by its soft, easy to digest texture). This is no nonsense pizza with the option of washing it all down with one of their many Italian beers and, if you want to go truly authentic, finish off your meal with a tiramisu.

Their best slice? Tomato, fior di latte, chargrilled fennel, piennolo tomatoes, walnuts, basil.
The Porter Pizza
The Porter Pizza took one look at the stodgy takeaway pizza on offer and ran the other way. Forget hating yourself after finishing a large one, these guys put the work in behind the scenes to shed pizza’s junk food image. As well as the artisan pizzas you also have your pick of locally sourced chutneys because who said pizza couldn’t be classy?!

Their best slice? El Diablo – Chorizo, roasts peppers, jalapenos and mozzarella.
You’re out with the guys, you’re picking your pizza and suddenly you’re paying through the nose to swap spinach for chorizo. We’ve all been there and now Pizza Punks are taking a stand! Customise the whole damn thing from the base up to the chilli flakes at no extra cost to your wallet or your sanity.

Barbarossa Pizza Kitchen & Bar
Do you know you can flash cook pizza? Neither did we until we found the crew at Barbarossa. They know time is money so flash cook their pizzas in 90 seconds. Yes, you read that right, 90 SECONDS! If that wasn’t enough there’s a cool atmosphere and a fully licensed bar to keep everyone properly hydrated.

Their best slice? Wild Boar – Leaves you feeling manlier than after correctly putting up shelves first time of asking.
Come for the pun, stay for the hand-built oven that reaches 500oC, a menu of homemade desserts that changes daily and a pizza place that has more awards than Snow White has dwarves (she has seven, you do the maths). As well as a pizza for every occasion and a dessert menu that won’t quit, there’s a range of meaty starters for the hardcore carnivores! Not only that they also have an order online service in case your couch is a little too comfy.
