The Warehouse – Huddersfield
Beer, burgers, sport. Count us in! Introducing new drinkers to real, craft beer is tough work, but someone’s got to do it. In Huddersfield, those someone’s can be found in The Warehouse. This funky, good time pub has a great selection of beers, it also has big screen sports, pool tables, live music and a tasty menu that will suit even the fussiest eater.
The Sheffield Tap – Sheffield
Step back in time to the Sheffield Tap, this absolutely phenomenal venue has lovingly brought back to life the very essence of everything that is brilliant about pubs. The ‘World Beer Freehouse’ has presented it in a funky, almost timeless way and then tops it all with 12 taps, 11 cask pulls and over 200 bottled beers from across the globe. “Where to start?!?”
Brew York – York
One of the country’s funkiest young breweries has gone one step further with its own beer hall, with forty taps and exquisite street food, with amazing burgers and Korean inspired flavours. But the star of the show is their own range of beers which don’t just taste incredible, we think they have created the best labels around. Beers for real collectors and beer buffs.
The Southfield – Middlesbrough
Bright, loud, unabashed, the Southfield is Middlesbrough’s number one craft beer venue. In fact, some would say it’s the city’s number one venue full stop (and who are we to argue?). Who doesn’t love a venue that opens at 8am? A handy spot for the campus crowd, there’s a beer garden, pool table, big screen sports and good food.
The Dog & Rabbit – Whitley Bay
Pub and microbrewery all under one roof, the Dog & Rabbit is a proper purists pub. Real ales, real people, real music and real conversation. It truly feels like one of those ‘heart of the community’ pubs and is a rare breed. The fact they even brew their own beer just gives you more reasons to wish you were already a regular.
