Build your stag

Golf, cricket, football, golf, bowls, golf… those seeking a variety of sporting excellence are spoilt for choice with the La Manga stag activities on offer. The sun-soaked resort is one of the world's best sporting resorts although La Manga offers a range of activities, it doesn't skimp on quality and championship standards are upheld. We don't know about you, but the chance to play on elite, exceptional sporting grounds doesn't come around too often for us… the stag may never forgive you if you miss this opportunity. It's not all running around and working up a sweat (or taking a leisurely walk, in the case of golf) either. Surrounded by warm sea water on both sides and a hot sun overhead, La Manga is the ideal place to sit back and relax with good friends too. From sports to sunbathing, La Manga has everything you need to treat your mate to a world-class weekend away.

A good walk, ruined

Golf is really La Manga's claim to fame, and it sets an incredible standard with its three amazing courses. They've hosted the Spanish Opens, the PGA Championships, and numerous professional qualifying tours, cementing their place as a brilliant golfing resort. Plus, the weather's always good. It has three courses to try out: the imaginatively named South Course, North Course, and West Course.

La Manga South Course

Course length: 6,499m
Par: 73
Hosted: Spanish Opens, PGA Championships, professional qualifying tours
Dress code: smart, no denim, collared shirts, golf shoes

This course is rife with gorges, palm trees, and lakes, giving you a natural landscape to pit your golfing skills against. It's shorter than the Southern Course and is a test of precision, rather than strength.

Course length: 5,753m
Par: 71
Hosted: Spanish Opens, PGA Championships, professional qualifying tours
Dress code: smart, no denim, collared shirts, golf shoes

Course length: 5770m
Par: 72
Dress code: smart, no denim, collard shirts, golf shoes.

Working up a sweat

Despite the world-class courses, golf isn't the only sport available with regards to La Manga stag activities. There are plenty of other sports available too, if golf just isn't energetic enough for you and you plan to get the lads working a bit harder. La Manga has a footballing tradition by way of the La Manga stadium, particularly famed for its use in friendly Spanish matches, and you and the boys can get in on the beautiful game yourselves playing a little 5-a-side on the stag do. It's easy, it's simple, and it's always a favourite with the lads. If the Spanish sun is too hot for you and you'd rather watch a game, settle in and watch a game of cricket instead. And of course, go karting is always a hit with stags, no matter where it takes place the roaring engines and blazing speed are always top La Manga stag ideas.

Rest and relaxation

It doesn't have to be constantly hurling forwards at full throttle on a stag do, and if you do want to relax and recharge, there's no better place for it than La Manga. Those secure in their masculinity might want to stop by the spa there are treatment rooms, Jacuzzis, three different whirlpools, steam rooms, and saunas. There's also an indoor pool and a gym for those who know that relaxing doesn't have to mean resting. If you'd like to keep your La Manga stag activities active, deep sea fishing takes full advantage of the Mediterranean location, and gets you all out on a boat on the deep blue. If even that sounds like too much work, go for chartering a yacht instead, and let a captain do all the hard work whilst you lot sit back with a beer.
