The Best Time to Go

According to our statistics, 50% of stags who went to Leeds with us in 2023 did so in June and July.

Why?

Well, it's a great time of year to visit as you might catch some sun (think of an ice-cold pint in one of the many beer gardens), and it's just before wedding season, which leaves plenty of time to recover before the big day.

Also, it's the end of uni, so there will be fewer students crowding the best drinking spots.

How Long Do People Go For?

53% of our stags stay for 3 days (2 nights), which is ideal.

2 nights is plenty of time to conquer all the nightlife, tackle the activities, and have a crack at everything the city has to offer.

How Soon Do People Book?

According to our stats for 2023, guys heading to Leeds left it pretty late to book - just three months before, on average.

We'd recommend booking as early as possible to avoid missing out on your preferred options.

The later you leave it, the less choice you'll have.

Where to Stay in Leeds

From awesome stag houses just a mile from the city centre to cracking hotels right in the middle, our range of Leeds stag accommodation suits all groups.

If you're planning on booking a house, we'd recommend you enquire and get the deposit down ASAP before somebody else beats you to it.

Hotels are often easier to book, but we'd still get in early.

Common Leeds FAQs

Is Leeds good for a stag do?

Boasting a great range of activities as well as a monumental party scene, Leeds has everything you need to give the groom an unforgettable send-off. It's also easier on the wallet than its big-city rivals, meaning your hard-earned money will go even further and the beer kitty will be even bigger.

Is Leeds a party town?

The nightlife scene in Leeds is one of the main reasons thousands are drawn to visiting each year. There are many (almost too many) options out there that are bound to please everyone in the group. From cocktail bars to indie craft ale houses to clubs with never-ending floors - it has it all.

Is Leeds a popular choice for stags?

Leeds is hugely underrated, but those in the know, know how great a city it is. Its nightlife is top drawer, it has all the activities you could ever want (and more), and it's budget-friendly meaning you'll have more money for that big night out and a couple of extra stag adventures.

What do you wear to clubs in Leeds?

The dress code always varies depending on which club you're going to. We recommend you always prepare smart casual outfits, as this is the most common dress code for nightclubs, and you will avoid disappointment at the door. Avoid any joggers, football tops, or sandals as these are usually a no-go.
