What to Expect from a Night Out in Benidorm
If the groom is hoping for an action-packed weekend, then you’ve come to the right place.
Beni is bustling with bouncing pubs, lively sports bars, and iconic nightclubs for a serious evening of partying.
Booze prices are reasonable, but they tend to increase at night when the party kicks off.
For expert advice on Beni’s clubs, check out our 8 Best Nightclubs in Benidorm in 2025 to keep the party alive.
💡 TOP TIP: Many bars and nightclubs are cash only, so it’s wise to have Euros on you to avoid the dreaded walk of shame to the cash point from the bar.
Benidorm Nightlife Districts
Benidorm has three key districts for the stags to conquer, each offering something different.
Calle Gerona (The Strip)
Is it really a popular stag destination if there isn’t an iconic stretch of road lined with bars? Well, don’t worry because Benidorm’s strip delivers on that front.
At 1.3km long, this mammoth of a party street is basically begging for a stag do bar crawl. We’re talking Irish pubs, karaoke, and popular bars with tasty drinks.
Avenida Mallorca (The English Square)
Yep, the clue is in the name – this is where most British tourists head for a mega atmosphere, day and night.
Just off Calle Gerona, this buzzing area should be on your hit list.
Old Town
The Old Town is full of tapas spots, cocktail joints, nightclubs and sports bars. You could spend an entire night in this area alone.
It’s 3.5km from Calle Gerona, so it might be best to plan an entire night around the Old Town or jump in a taxi.

Smashed Bar Crawl
If you’re gonna do a bar crawl, go hard or go home. We’re talking a 5-hour expert-guided party, with up to 100 people, free shots, and hilarious games.
Strip Dinner
Take your pick from a 1, 2 or 3-course meal with a side order of a steamy strip show. If you’re looking to surprise the groom with a raunchy twist, this will certainly set the tone for the night.
Open Bar
Time to take advantage of unlimited booze (yep, unlimited!) for 1 – 2 hours in one of Beni’s best Irish bars and get the drinks flowing. How else would you kickstart a Benidorm bar crawl?
What to Wear on a Night Out in Benidorm
Many bars and nightclubs in Benidorm allow fancy dress, football tops, and shorts, meaning you can prank the groom or wear a hilarious group-themed outfit.
However, some nightclubs and up-market bars have a smart casual dress code, so shirts, polo tops, jeans, and trainers are preferred.
To guarantee entry, dress as you would when going clubbing in the UK.
How to Stay Safe
Overall, Benidorm is safe, but we ask the lads to stay alert and follow the best practices you would anywhere else.
DO:
✅ Stay together
✅ Jump in a taxi for longer journeys
✅ Keep your possessions on you at all times
DON’T:
❌ Wonder off alone
❌ Drink too much
Follow these rules and you will be safe!
Tips on Getting Around Benidorm at Night
In Benidorm, there are two ways to get around at night, whether that’s to the stag pad or the next bar.
Taxis – Benidorm has plenty of taxi firms and this could be your best bet if you want to head home or switch between The Strip and the Old Town. You can’t hail a taxi, so you have to call the taxi rank.
Walking – Benidorm is compact, so walking can be an option if you’re staying in the city centre. Plus, most of the bars are within walking distance, so you won’t need transport on the bar crawl.
Recovery Tips
At StagWeb, we really do have inside knowledge because we visit Benidorm regularly.
Sometimes, all you need is a greasy full English breakfast to recover your sore head from the night before, and our Benidorm Destination Specialist, Simon, is here to help.
Simon recommends Aromas British Café and The Brunch Box for a top-class breakfast to help you recover before the party continues.
