If you have been trying to get hold of us, or you saw the news and wondered where it left the plans, here is the short version. StagWeb is here to stay, in safe hands, and the team that saves you a weekend’s worth of admin are back on it.
Same crew, same system that just works
Same experts, same one-place booking, same setup where every stag pays his own share through his own link so you are not the one playing group treasurer. Minimal effort, maximum credit, exactly as before. We have been sending stags off in style since 2002, and none of that is changing.
Already booked a stag do? Here is where you stand
What happens depends on when your event takes place. If it departs on or before 31 August 2026, nothing changes, your event goes ahead as booked, with ABTOT’s arrangements in place. If it departs from 1 September 2026, it will be cancelled and is subject to a refund claim. Full details and the claim routes are on our booking information page.
Who is running StagWeb now
StagWeb was one of the Groupia brands, and Groupia is now part of Funktion Leisure, the company behind Funktion Events. Funktion Leisure is an established UK events company that has been organising group trips since 2007 and is ABTA-bonded. More muscle behind the scenes, and the same StagWeb up front.
