Golfing is always a hugely popular stag do activity with the lads - it's in our top 25 most booked activities, so you know the boys are all guaranteed to love it. It's easy to see why too - golf is leisurely but competitive; a relaxed, laidback sport that all the boys can join in, whether they're Tiger Woods or complete novices. Golf can also be played whilst suffering a hangover, which is more than you can say for most sports.
Our Norwich golf course is no exception, set out in the beautiful Norfolk countryside and providing a real challenge for golfing stag groups. There are 18 holes to play across a 120 acre course, and plenty of challenges and trials to add another dimension to the day. In addition to the standard holes, there are also a variety of obstacles to negotiate, including - amongst other things - hidden ponds, and two tiered greens. The intricacies of the course mean that our Norwich site provides a great golfing experience for lads on a stag for both beginner and keen golfers alike.
One of the beauties of golf is how well it can fit in with the rest of your weekend - it's an incredibly flexible activity. Once you've shown up at the course and donned your argyle knee-highs and sweater vest, there's nothing to do but grab your clubs and hit the fairways. You can take as long as you like about it, there's no instructor barking orders at you... just you, the boys, and the golf.
"... Whether you guys are golfers or not, it's a top activity that's a hit with huge number of stag groups across the country - and Norfolk is no exception. ..."
Golfing is one of those rare activities that's a hit no matter what - stags of all ages are able to join in, from the tag-along little brother to the best man to the father of the bride. It also works in all weathers and a good thing too, considering the British weather. Norwich isn't known for its sunny skies, but luckily, as long as you're willing to play the course, Norwich is ready to show you a top golfing stag weekend.
