Beer pong, it really is one of the all-time great party games. A measurement of manliness, a rite of passage that all true party princes will have faced at one point in their life. It's also a fitting challenge to inject big laughs and added fun to the Newcastle stag do.
The action all takes place at one of Newcastle's most popular and best-loved party bars. This is not your average bar, retro 70s décor, which is totally mad in a brilliant "I don't think we're in Kansas anymore Toto." kind of way. The beats are great, the crowd lively, the bar staff knowledgeable and do know how to mix up some excellent man cocktails, if that's what floats your boat. If you're keeping your head clear for the game (like the pong pro you are) then you can merely take advantage of the 'warm-up' vodka and Red Bull all the players will be served.
Once everyone has down the first beverage it's time to hit the tables. Split the guys into teams with a maximum of ten players per tables (for every additional ten players you'll require an extra table, 1-10 players = 1 table, 11-20 players = 2 tables, 21-30 tables) and then let the good times roll… or bounce. This is classic pong, straight battle but held in a funky setting with a great soundtrack and brilliant atmosphere. All you need to do is bring your game faces and throwing arms, even the beer is supplied.
If beer seems a bit too last year you can switch to gin or even bubbly (prices of games will vary depending on your chosen poison.
A great way to start your evening this is sure to be a hit with all the guys and to spice it up a bit more you can add your own prizes of forfeits.
