He can make even the craziest idea come to life so if you have one in mind, give him a call on 01225 474200 and he'd be more than happy to chat.

Tom's Top Tip for Blackpool

"Being on the coast, Blackpool is very popular with groups in the summer, which is why I advise people to book at least four months in advance."

"Having all the essentials like nightclub entries, activities, and accommodation sorted ahead of time is the key to a stress-free weekend."

🍺 Tom's Night Out Top Tip

"Head on over to the Golden Mile to kickstart the evening and then make your way up to the North Pier to enjoy the rest of the night there."

Before you book, be sure to meet the team behind the scenes at StagWeb to find out why 700,000 have trusted us with their pre-wedding celebrations.

Blackpool Nightlife

The Golden Mile

Stretching between the North Pier and the South Pier, this is the ultimate party hotspot! The Golden Mile is actually 1.7 miles long and boasts popular party staples (like Revolution and Popworld) as well as some cracking local bars and amusement arcades.

North Pier

The area around the North Pier is a hive of activity at night. It's a great launchpad for any legendary night out. You'll be able to find fantastic drink deals, bars and clubs to suit your whole group there. In and around Queen Street and Talbot Road are where you want to go.

Things to See in Blackpool

Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Open from March to October, this theme park located just a couple of minutes from the South Pier is full of rollercoasters (one of which was Europe's first to do a full loop) and live entertainment. Ideal for stags.

Blackpool Beach

Blackpool is one of the best British seaside resorts and its beach is one of the reasons why. You can explore the stag-friendly bars along the promenade and soothe those hangovers in the sun on the sand.

Bloomfield Road

For any footy fans looking to get their fix, head to Bloomfield Road to watch the Tangerines in action. The stadium is a mile from the Central Pier, so you won't have to travel far to get there.

How to Get to Blackpool...

Train - Boasting three railway stations, with the main one being Blackpool North, the town is well-equipped to welcome you by train. There are regular trains running from places like Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, York, London and Birmingham, to name a few, so reaching Blackpool shouldn't be a hassle.

Car - Blackpool is easy to reach by car, too. If you know the place you're staying at doesn't offer any parking, it's best if you arrange some beforehand. You can do this by checking Parkopedia.

Tips On Getting Around Blackpool

Walking - Most of Blackpool's nightlife is located close to the beachfront, so everything is within walking distance.

Bus - Blackpool has a great public transport network including regular bus services running along the promenade and connecting the outskirts of the town. For more information on fares and timetables, head over to the official Blackpool Transport website.

Tram - Trams run along the beachfront every 30 minutes and are the perfect way to get from pub A to pub B.

Taxis - Whilst most of the nightlife is located along the beachfront, many of the activities are outside the town centre, so you might have to plan ahead in terms of travel and pre-book a taxi. Ask at the reception of your hotel for a number or try one of these reputable firms below:

  • Premier Taxis - 01253 401000
  • C Cabs - 01253 292929
  • 24/7 Taxis Blackpool - 01253 777222

Blackpool FAQs

Is Blackpool good for a stag do?

Blackpool is a top place for a stag do if you're looking for big nights out, adrenaline-pumping activities and a place that doesn't take itself too seriously. You can chill on the beach in the morning, take on some adrenaline-pumping activities in the afternoon, before taking on the Golden Mile in the evening. What's not to like about that?!

Is Blackpool an expensive night out?

One of the big selling points of Blackpool is its affordability. Compared to other stag party hotspots like Bristol and London, you're going to save a small fortune on a night out.

Can you drink alcohol on Blackpool Beach?

No, drinking alcohol on Blackpool Beach is permitted only in the designated bar areas along the coast. For more information, you can visit the Blackpool Pleasure Beach help page.
