Water Park Entry Budapest

Budapest might be the city of Spas, but for some reason, we get the impression that sitting still, and detoxing won't quite satisfy all your thrills and spills. This is the big weekend away and you're Hungary for adventure (not sorry!).  So why not leave the maxing and relaxing for another day and head to the biggest ever aquapark in the whole of Hungary?! It's time to make a splash.

You may have been to some waterparks in your time, but this is the real deal. Aquarena Theme Park is made up of 11,5 hectares (that's roughly fourteen football pitches lads!), making it the ultimate stag playground. You might be refreshed when you're there, but just try and keep your cool when you find out what this theme park has in store!!!....

You'll find not one, not two, but twenty-six waterslides to fly down, meandering above both the water and under the ground. And it wouldn't be a waterpark without a pool, so obviously this one's got nine!  Take a dip in them all and see which is your fave; the Jacuzzi, a three-level diving pool, the slow streaming lazy river, or the 'Experience pool', we won't say too much more about that one, because what's the fun in that?

If you're brave enough, then take the plunge and fall 394 feet to a pool that lies a stomach-dropping forty-six feet below you. Scaredy-stags can opt-out and chill in the cooling pools or kick back in the deck chairs and work on their tans while the test let loose and navigate the park's unique 1.5km slide system.

This is every child's and kidult's dream come true, and honestly, just thinking about it makes us want to come with you! But this is your epic weekend away, so go and make the most of it and treat the married-man-to-be to the pool party of his lifetime.
