What Goes Down

You may get muddy. Wear loose, unrestrictive clothes and sturdy footwear. A change of clothes is a good idea.
Why Groups Rate This
Forget sitting in the pub all afternoon - it's time to step up, suit up (well… in something you can move in), and take on a proper Scottish showdown. These Edinburgh Highland Games are 90 minutes of full-throttle competition, traditional events, and the chance to earn serious bragging rights.
When you arrive, your instructors will split the group into rival clans (larger groups into more teams) before giving you a quick safety briefing and running through how each event works. Then it's game on.
You'll be going head-to-head in a mix of classic Highland challenges designed to test strength, skill, and nerve, including:

- Haggis hurling
- Sword ring toss
- Welly wanging
- Putting the stone
- Weight for height
- Tug of war
If it's neck-and-neck at the end, it all comes down to the Farmer's Dash - an all-out sprint that'll crown the true Highland champions. And just to make sure the victory feels that bit sweeter, the winning clan will walk away with medals and miniature whiskies to toast their triumph.
