This is the real site of Hamburg's old dungeons. You'll travel through 600 years of Hamburg's murky, hideous and at times hilarious past. The whole event is hosted by live/dead actors who bring history to life... Without all the boring bits. The dungeon is dark, atmospheric and boy does it smell, and that's before the groom gets down there with his aftershave.

It's non-stop laughs and one of Hamburg's top attractions:

• Meet the infamous pirate Klaus Stortebeker. He made a bet with his captors that after he was beheaded, he would stand up and walk to save his crew.
• Katharina Wachtler, after two years of torture for a murder she won't confess to, she's out for revenge.

• The Judge, he'll sentence the groom for his crimes, "Hangings too good for him!"
