Panoramic Alpine Views Innsbruck

If you're ready to take your stag do to new heights, then this Panoramic Alpine Views trip may very well be the peak of your weekend… literally! You and the boys will get a cable car all the way to the top of Nordkette, Austria's incredible mountain range, where you can see the city from a whole new perspective.

The circular 'Eagle's Nest' platform offers 360-degree panoramic views of the Eastern Alps. It's often possible to see over the border into Austria's neighbouring countries: Italy, Germany and Switzerland. And the best thing is, you don't have to hike! Simply hop aboard the cable car with your return pass and head up, up and away! (You need to preserve your energy for all that dad-dancing later that night, remember?!).

Your cable car will carry you from the city centre to one of Tyrol's most spectacular vantage points. Just when you thought that your weekend away couldn't get more epic, you'll find yourselves standing 6500 ft above the ground surrounded by mountain peaks, blue skies and dazzling sunlight.

Once you've reached the top, you can sit back and relax at the summit restaurant where you'll find refreshing beers and a range of tasty Austrian meals. Sat 3,000 metres above sea level, the restaurant overlooks the Otztal Alps, Großglockner and Piz Bernina peaks, and, on a clear day, you can even see as far as the famous TV tower in Munich!

The cable cars run every fifteen minutes, so you can choose to go at whatever time of day suits you. We highly recommend going on an early morning sunrise ride when Innsbruck is basked in golden sunlight, though, perhaps a sunset trip is more 'stag-friendly'. Either way, you can rest assured that it's well worth the trip!
