The Best Time to Go
According to our statistics (or should we say 'stag-tistics'), 52% of stags who booked with us in 2024 went to Oxford from April to August.
Why is this period incredibly popular?
Well, it's out of season for the dual university city, so there's a more mature crowd, and it's also during the peak of English summer, so sunshine is more likely.
Bring on the beer gardens!
How Long Do People Go For?
75% of stags stayed in Oxford for 2-3 days in 2024 (1-2 nights).
We'd always suggest two nights as this gives you the chance to really get to know the city, but one night is fine if you're familiar with Oxford.
How Soon Do People Book?
Guys heading to Oxford are usually pretty organised and book with us, on average, 4 months before they're due to go.
That means you need to get planning even earlier if you don't want to miss out on the best activities and nights out.
It really pays to book early.
