Vilnius Nightlife
Old Town
Old Town is easy to explore on foot and makes for ideal 'bar crawl territory' if you want to take in some sights as you drink. Here you'll find nightclubs from the cool to the crazy so there are venues for every stag's party needs!
Islandijos & Vilniaus Street
In the western side of the Old Town, you'll find these two adjoining streets that are full of pubs and cocktail bars.
Stikliu Street
This street in the centre of Old Town has a sophisticated run of bars and relaxed hangouts for chilled evenings or a spot of day drinking. Craft beer is really taking off in the Lithuanian capital, so a pint is never far away wherever you are in the city!
Things to See in Vilnius
Gediminas Tower
This old (13th century 'old') castle tower has a great viewing platform that looks out over this grand old city.
Vilnius Cathedral
Although a cathedral isn't very 'stag do' it's right by Gediminas Tower and a pretty cool bit of architecture.
TV Tower
Head up this 326-metre platform and soak up the outrageous sights. You can head up to the top for as little as €16, plus there's a restaurant if you really want to treat yourselves.
How to Get to Vilnius...
You'll need to aim for Vilnius International Airport which is just 6 km from the centre, making it an absolute breeze to get to (you could be in the city sipping an ice-cold beer in just 20 minutes).
Getting from the airport to the city centre...
Bus - There will be a number of buses waiting outside the terminal that will take you straight to the city centre for as little as €0.65...
- Number 88 (Airport, city centre, Europa Square)
- Number 1 (Airport, Viking Street, Station)
- Number 2 (Airport, Viking Street, Liepkalnio, Station)
- Express Bus 3G (Airport, centre, Fabijoniškės)
- Night bus 88N (Airport, centre, Europa Square)
Taxi - There will be a range of taxis waiting outside the terminals. Whilst they are more expensive than the bus, they won't break the bank when split between your group.
Train - You can also catch the train which stops at the terminal and get to the city centre for just €0.80. Check the timetable and get your tickets in advance.
Airport Transfers - If you want us to arrange for someone to be waiting at the airport to take you straight to your accommodation, simply tick the box on your Vilnius stag enquiry and we'll get it added to your quote.
Tips On Getting Around Vilnius
Walking - A lot of Vilnius, particularly the Old Town, is easily walkable. It's a great way to soak up the sights and find the best bars in the city.
Trafi App - The Vilnius Tourist Board recommend an app to help you find the best way around the city. From buses to scooters and everything else in between, it'll help you find the easiest way from point A to point B
