The Best Time to Go
Our stats at StagWeb tell us that 55% of stags went to Newquay between May and July in 2023.
This is ideal for 3 reasons:
- You miss the price increase in the summer holidays
- You have a buffer before wedding season kicks off
- You'll start to get some great weather
By all means, go to Newquay whenever works for you, but these months are the peak stag and hen months for sure.
How Long Do People Go For?
63% of stags stayed in Newquay for 3 days and 2 nights.
Whilst this is probably enough for most groups, we'd always recommend staying longer if you can.
For most of the UK, it's quite a drive away, so you're going to want to make the most of it.
Equally, who wouldn't want an extra day or two to lounge around on the beach and enjoy the sun?!
How Soon Do People Book?
According to our end-of-year stats, most of the guys booking for Newquay in 2023 booked 4 months before they were due to go, which is the average for stags.
Four months does give you enough time to get things organised, but we'd still recommend booking earlier if you can.
Newquay is quite a popular destination amongst stag and hens, and it's quite small which means availability is limited.
The early bird catches the worm and the early stag books the best weekend!
