If you've chosen Galway as the destination for your weekend of madness and mayhem, you've probably chosen it for the awesome bars and clubs, but if you and the lads fancy trying something a little different on your big weekend, then our Galway stag party greyhound racing could be for you.
Forget horse racing, that's for little fellas and girls with big hats. Greyhound racing is fast and furious and you don't have to wait ages between races. That means there's plenty of action to have a flutter (but always bet within your means, you don't want to find out you've run out of beer money!). A few lucky winners and you'll be kings for the night with champagne all round... of course get it wrong and it's a trip to Bob's burger van on route to an early night.
When you and the boys get to Galway's epic greyhound stadium, you'll head down to the bar, get those all-important first pints in and take a look at the runners who are sure you have some hilarious names as all racing animals do. Then make your bets and head up to your seats where you'll get to watch all the racing action unfold.
Greyhound racing is perfect for our Galway stag party, especially as a first night activity as it's a great way to set the pace for your weekend while getting involved with a chilled out, fun activity that'll give you and the boys the perfect chance to catch up and get some great banter going.
Get booking and you can guarantee a great start to any big night out. But be warned, don't let the groom lose too much, or he might find himself in the doghouse... ("Thank you, I'm here all week folks, try the veal.")
Because of the pandemic, there's limited availability for 2022 due to 1000s of events being rescheduled and new events being booked in daily.
Please Note: We work with 1000s of suppliers across the UK & Europe so prices, availability, photos and specifics on our greyhound racing activity may vary depending on your preferred location and dates.
Feel free to ask your Destination Specialist at the time of booking if you have any questions about this.
