Cricket, it's the art of hitting things, really hard with a bloody big stick. Ok, so there is a lot more to it than that, but the very essence of the game contains all the elements of the best sports, big sticks, summer days and you're never too far from a beer tent.

You and the guys can watch some top action at a number of games around the UK.

Your group will arrive at the ground in plenty of time, fancy dress is allowed at some venues (please ask for details) or you can just take something for the groom to wear so he stands out from the rest of the crowd. Well you don't want him getting lost, do you? You can head straight to the beer tent and sit back, relax and enjoy this most refined English tradition. You can, of course, add your own cricket inspired drinking games and chants to enjoy a suitably lively afternoon. Always drink responsibly and please be considerate of those around you, you're not just the man with the plan, you're also responsible for getting the groom home in one piece. Not only can you be sure he'll survive but you'll also get great seats.

The other beauty of cricket is it's a great way to nurse a hangover. You don't need to run, there are no loud motors or gunfire, you can cover a sore head with a hat, stick on your shades and let the sun's vitamin D do its good work in helping to ease you back to the human being you were before the night before was the night before.
