Groupia Ltd ("the Company", trading as Groupia Golf, GoHen, StagWeb, Groupia School Trips and Company Away Days) entered Administration on 16 June 2026, with Nigel Fox and Christopher Marsden of S&W Partners LLP appointed as Joint Administrators. The Company has now ceased taking new bookings, and arrangements are in place with ABTOT to support customers with existing bookings.

The property is centred around a large courtyard, with eight individual en-suite bedrooms converted from the original stable block. Five rooms are split-level mezzanine spaces, offering a bit of separation from the communal areas, while three ground-floor doubles provide easy access and flexibility for the group. Everyone gets their own bathroom, which makes mornings far less painful.

A Proper Social Hub

The main barn conversion is where the weekend comes together. The modern kitchen, complete with an island and bar seating, naturally becomes the go-to spot for pre-drinks and quick breakfasts. A large dining table comfortably seats 20 guests, while the lounge area offers plenty of room for games, downtime and watching sport on the smart TV. Bi-fold doors allow the space to be opened up or zoned off as needed.

Step outside onto the wraparound patio and you'll find the private hot tub, seating areas and open lawn space. Bordered by woodland and a stream, the setting feels tucked away despite having views stretching out towards Newcastle, giving you the best of both worlds.

Booking Terms

Deposit - A secondary, non-refundable holding deposit will be due 5 days after booking. Please refer to your quote or ask your Destination Specialist for further details.

Balance - The remaining balance will be due 56 days prior to your stay.

Cancellation - Unfortunately deposits are non-refundable. For further information regarding cancellations and final balances please refer to our terms & conditions.

Behaviour Bond

A behavioural bond of £500 (refundable) will be due 7 days prior to your event, payable by Bank Transfer.
