The Old Town is the place to party in Bratislava and is packed out with awesome pubs, bars, clubs and eateries for you to try. There's even an area of bars known locally as 'The Bermuda Triangle' because so many people go there and aren't seen for days!
Things to See in Bratislava
Bratislava Castle
This colossal castle is a great place to head to see a bit of the culture. You can also snap that squad selfie to prove to your other halves that you didn't spend the entire weekend in the boozer.
Man at Work
A cool little statue of a man peering out of a manhole cover - this iconic sculpture is a must-see, but it's easy to miss. Don't go tripping over him after a few beers!
UFO Bridge
The UFO Bridge is out of this world (see what we did there?) and an awesome sight to check out. You can even head to the top of the tower at the far end for stunning views out across the city.
How to Get to Bratislava...
You can fly directly to Bratislava Airport (M.R. Štefánik Airport) from several big cities, so make sure to check your nearest airport.
The airport is just 13.5 kilometres away from the city centre and the commute between the two usually takes around 20 minutes.
You can also take no.61 bus which stops just a 15-minute walk away from the city centre and costs around €1.
Taxis are also available in the area, but if you're looking to avoid any hassles, we recommend arranging a private transfer through us. Simply select the option at the bottom of your Bratislava stag enquiry and we will add the option to your quote.
Top Tip - You can also fly to Vienna Airport and then get the bus to Bratislava, which takes about an hour and costs around €10. Tickets can be bought on the bus or you can book your seats using Flexibus.

Walk - The best of Bratislava is concentrated in the Old Town, which is easy to walk around, so you can save your hard-earned money for more of that delicious cheap beer.

Bratislava is a great place for a stag do. Being a budget-friendly destination, your hard-earned cash goes a hell of a lot further than a lot of other stag do destinations. That means you'll have more money for the beer kitty and more money for awesome activities. What's not to love?
What's the tipping culture in Bratislava?
It seems a universal trait, but in Bratislava, adding between 5 and 10 per cent onto your bill in a restaurant is the general rule of thumb. For drinks, you could just round up to the nearest euro or give a little extra if you'd like.
