So, the groom may be a dab hand at darts - you know, those really light things you throw in the warm confines of a pub. YAWN! Well, let's see how he fares when you put his skills to a proper test - this is proper darts, darts 2.0. We're talking the legendary, all-action activity which is the epic  Knife and Axe Throwing. Gents, this is sporting competition at its ruthless best and the perfect addition to your Edinburgh stag weekend!

On arrival, you'll quickly register and have a safety briefing before the chaos can well and truly commence. You'll then have one hour of axe-wielding, tomahawk-splitting, knife-throwing mayhem as you take to the range and crank up the carnage. Each stag will have a selection of deadly missiles at his disposal (tomahawks, throwing knives and double-handed throwing axes*) as you try and out warrior the rest of the boys. You'll then hurl your weapons at wooden boards with targets painted on them. You can work out a scoring system to make things more competitive. Make sure you keep track of your points so you can dissect the final results over a few beers when you're in the pub later on (loser buys the first round!).

Not only is this a brilliant, hilarious, banter-filled activity, but it's also a great stress-buster for that anxious groom. Bride-to-be turning into a bit of a bridezilla, mother-in-law getting on his case because the colour of the lilies in the centrepieces doesn't match the placemats Thwack, double thwack, triple thwack!

*The double-handed throwing axes will be cracked out at the discretion of the instructor. Due to their size and weight, they are not suitable for everyone.
