Where to Go Out in Prague

Old Town

The OG stag district. Home to Prague's biggest and most famous clubs, including Karlovy Lázně (5 floors of chaos!).

Žižkov

Edgy and packed with more bars per square metre than anywhere else in Europe. Think dive bars, cheap pints, and hidden gems.

Vinohrady

A slightly more upmarket, hipster area with cool cocktail lounges and great food options. A solid warm-up before heading into town.

Wenceslas Square

Touristy but energetic - this is where you'll find chain clubs, late-night kebabs, and stag central vibes.

Dlouhá Street

The beating heart of Prague nightlife. Walk down this legendary strip and you'll hit multiple bars, pubs, and clubs in one go.

How Much Money Should You Bring?

Prices in Prague are famously friendly. Expect £1-2 for a beer, £6-10 for a main meal, and great value across the board - especially compared to UK cities.

Trip Length: 3 nights is ideal

  • Long enough to recover between pints
  • Flights usually cheaper midweek than the weekend

Booking Window:

3-5 months out = Best combo of flights + accommodation + activity times

How to Get to Prague

Flights - Direct flights from most UK cities to Václav Havel Airport. Use Skyscanner or Google Flights to snag off-peak deals.

Airport Transfers - Pre-booked minibus or Uber is best. Avoid the overpriced taxis at the terminal.

Getting Around Prague

Walk - Most nightlife areas are walkable from central hotels

Tram - Fast, cheap, and a great way to get around

Taxi/Uber - Easy but always pre-book.

E-Scooters - Watch the cobbles and the beers!

On average, our stag groups spend £245pp for 2-3 nights, including:

  • Central accommodation

What to Pack for Prague

  • Passport (obviously)
  • Euros or card - most places take contactless
  • Stag-themed gear (not too offensive - some venues can be strict)
  • Decent shoes as Prague = cobbles!

Optional:

  • Earplugs
  • Painkillers

FAQs

Is Prague still cheap?

Yes! Beer for £1.50, massive clubs for a tenner, and great value apartments.

Is Prague stag-friendly?

Massively, just behave well in bars and avoid dodgy taxi ranks.

What's the weather like?

Mild spring, hot summers, cold winters. Best months = May, June, September.

Do we need to speak Czech?

Nope. Most staff speak English in bars, clubs, and activities.

Has Prague banned pub crawls?

Prague has banned organised pub crawls from 10 pm until 6 am in a bid to reduce noise issues. However, most stags will be going on pub crawls earlier than this, plus there is nothing stopping you doing a DIY crawl, so it shouldn't affect your plans too much.
