Most UK airports fly to Sofia International Airport but don't just assume your closest airport will - check early.
Getting from Sofia International Airport to the City Centre
Sofia's airport is only 11.6 km from the city centre.
Plenty of transport waits outside the airport, with taxis and buses costing around £10.
A cheap alternative is the Metropolitan Sofia (the subway), which costs about £1. Ideal.
