The Best Time to Go

According to our stats, 71% of our stags who went to Benidorm in 2023 went there between April and June.

These months are popular because you can get away before the school holidays start and the prices rise.

We did have stags going out as early as March and as late as October, though, so don't worry if you aren't going in peak stag season.

You won't really be able to head there outside these times, however, as nothing will be open.

How Long Do People Go For?

66% of our groups going to Benidorm go for 3 nights (4 days).

3 nights is the perfect amount of time as you get two full days without having to travel, so you can experience all that Benidorm has to offer.

You also don't really want to fly somewhere for less than 3.

How Soon Do People Book?

Lads heading to Beni in 2023 booked up their trips 5 months in advance (157 days).

That's a month longer than the average, but remember you need to make sure you secure flights, etc., and the earlier you book, the cheaper they usually are.

It pays to be organised when booking, fella.

Where to Stay in Benidorm

Not every hotel or apartment block in Benidorm will let stags stay.

Don't run the risk of booking solo and getting turned away on arrival (it's happened before!).

How to Get to Benidorm...

What Airport to Fly To... For those who've never been to Benidorm, you fly to Alicante Airport.

Most UK airports offer flights here, but please check beforehand (you'd be surprised how many people forget to check!).

How Long is the Flight from the UK?

It can take between 2.5-3 hours to get to Alicante Airport from the UK.

Not bad for guaranteed sun and an insane party scene.

Getting from the Airport to Benidorm...

Benidorm is a 58km drive from Alicante Airport and will take between 45-50 minutes to get there.

There are regular buses from the airport to Benidorm that cost as little as €10.

A taxi will cost €60-€70, but split between a few of you, this is a good option.

However, the easiest way to get to Benidorm is through private airport transfers that will be waiting at the airport and will drop you straight at your accommodation.

Just tick the box on your Benidorm enquiry and we'll add it to your quote.

Tips On Getting Around Benidorm

Walking - Most of Benidorm is easy enough to walk around, but you have options if you need to travel a little bit further.

Taxi - There are a few taxi firms that operate in Benidorm - when you book with StagWeb, you'll get a taxi card provided in your welcome pack. Radio Taxi is a reputable firm, so keep your eyes out for these guys.

Bus - There is a local bus service (blue and white) which has around 20 routes that connect different points of town to the surrounding areas. Tickets cost €1.50 for a standard fare but it may be more worthwhile to purchase a 24-hour ticket.

Common Benidorm FAQs

Is Benidorm good for a stag do?

If you're looking for sun, sand, ice-cold beers, and an unrivalled party atmosphere, Benidorm is perfect. It's like it was built for stag dos. If you go for three days, four days, five days - whatever - you'll be guaranteed a cracking time from start to finish.

Is Benidorm a party city?

Benidorm is up there with the best party cities in Europe. It's down to earth. It has great bars. It has cheap beers and drinks deals. Plus there are plenty of places to get a hangover-conquering breakfast in the morning - the mark of a good party city.

Is Benidorm cheap for alcohol?

Yes and no. During the day, you can pick up a beer for as little as €1.50, but you can expect the drinks to be slightly more expensive in and around the Square and the Strip in the evening.

What time do bars shut in Benidorm?

Most bars in Benidorm will be open way past 3 a.m. and some will still be open when the sun comes up. Is there still any doubt that Benidorm is a colossal party city?

How much money do I need for 3 days in Benidorm?

It really depends what you've got planned. If you've booked everything in advance, you could get by pretty easily on €80-100 a day. Savvy spenders could do it cheaper. More extravagant spenders should take more.

Is Benidorm good for a stag in March or April?

Benidorm's stag season starts from the beginning of March. Whilst peak season will be June onwards, March and April is still a great time to go and, often, it will be a lot cheaper. For the best weather and the best party vibes, we'd advise heading there in June, July, August and September.
